Practice Projects is a resource for projects that you might use in your faith practice. Please let us know what topics you would like us to develop. We will gladly assist you in formatting a project you desire to share. We do not want to reinvent the wheel, and we need to assist each other with the materials we have developed.
As materials are sent in, they will be spotlighted and then added to an index on this page, in this way we can share information and build on the ideas of others instead of recreate the wheel! Please share one of your projects!
Children's Mission Project"Children's Mission" project for the children to gather different no-cost items that can be of benefit to others in need, including stamps for the Department of Veterans Affairs, pop tabs for Ronald McDonald Houses, fronts of greeting cards for the St Jude's Ranch for Children, Box Tops for Education for local schools, and clean empty plastic medication bottles, shampoo, soap, tooth brushes, and tooth paste samples from hotels or dental offices for local Women's Shelters or GoServ Global orphanages. The Children's Missions is housed in a 6-drawer cart with labels and directions as to where the items should be sent. The goal of the project is to get children active, involved in mission "work", and discover that helping those in need does not always involve money, but that it does involve caring and kindness for one another.
